Section K of the Pacific Crest Trail extends from Stevens Pass to Rainy Pass and is best traveled from mid summer to early fall as much of the snow pack takes time to melt during spring and early summer.

This section is tough, it ascends and descends making its way through the Glacier Peak Wilderness.  The trail circles its way back and forth through valleys, mountains and canyons.  Highlights of this trail are the glaciers that are otherwise unreachable.  It can get quite wet so there won't be any shortage of water, and don't forget your rain gear for those unsuspected showers.
